Recombinant Human soluble Tumor Necrosis Factor-Related Apoptosis-inducing Ligand Receptor-2
RP00868
Product Specifications
| Product Type | Recombinant protein |
|---|---|
| Applications | Bioactivity, Endotoxin |
| Source | E. coli. |
| UniProt No. | O14763 |
| Purity | > 97 % by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analyses. |
| Bioactivity | Fully biologically active when compared to standard. rHusTRAIL-R2 reduced the production of LPS-induced TNF by its ability to neutralize endogenous TRAIL in fresh human PBMC. In this assay, endogenous TRAIL is induced during a 24 hour exposure to LPS (10 ng/mL) but in the presence of rHusTRAIL-R2, TRAIL-induced TNF is suppressed. |
| Endotoxin | Less than 1 EU/μg of rHusTRAIL-R2 as determined by LAL method. |
| Molecular Weight | Approximately 14.8 kDa, a single non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 132 amino acids. |
| Formulation | Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered concentrated solution in PBS, pH 7.4. |
| Alternative Names | sTRAILR2/TNFRSF10B, CD262, DR5, KILLER, KILLER/DR5, TRAIL-R2, TRAILR2, TRICK2, TRICK2A, TRICK2B, TRICKB, ZTNFR9, Human |
| Storage | -20C |
| Reconstitution | We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Reconstitute in sterile distilled water or aqueous buffer containing 0.1 % BSA to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. Stock solutions should be apportioned into working aliquots and stored at ≤ -20 °C. Further dilutions should be made in appropriate buffered solutions. |
